2003, we won for our displays at the 411 Building. The annual Great
Circus Parade passes in front of this building each July. Building
management installs viewing stands and invites tenants and their
families to enjoy the parade from the building lobby. In August,
building management hosts a party for all of its tenants. This year
's theme was "Luau". Colorful 'Ti' plants and bromeliads
help create the tropical theme. |
| In
2001, the award was for our millennium-themed display. For Christmas,
the 11-foot tree frame held 140 6-inch Norfolk Island Pines and
18 red poinsettias. For the New Years display, the poinsettias were
replaced with white azaleas, paper streamers and blue Mylar ornaments.
At the base of the Christmas display, the snow blanket and gifts
were replaced with a blue Mylar tree skirt strung with white lights.
Brass planter bowls featured white azaleas, variegated English ivy,
Spathiphyllum 'Starlite', blue Mylar and silver streamers. |
| In
1998, our designs using 12 seasonal flower bowls at the 411 Building,
downtown Milwaukee won an award . The bowls are changed approximately
every 2 weeks, with something different going into them every time.
We have heard from people who work in the building, that they look
forward to each change and some even take their families to see
the new installations. |
| In
1997, the award was for our design at Spancrete Industries, a concrete
forms company. Spancrete created the stepping stones for the atrium,
which had a two-fold purpose, as stones to assist the technicians
in watering and as a design element. |
